More 'The View' on AOL TV
It is too bad that much of Whoopi's birthday party turned out to be a major advertising commercial for products and gifts. The View is becoming more and more commercial advertising their own activities and promotions more and more. This is becoming irritating. While this is an outstanding show, and Whoopi is the greatest with her keen sense of reality and wisdom, the show is losing credibility with too frequent advertising of the participants' products and shows they do. Telling us once or twice- ok- but daily and frequent comments are tiresome and make one switch the channels. It is too bad, This hasbeen exceptional show, but islosing ground to commercialism. Whoopi's birthday party was the worst and demeaned a superb and brilliant performer.
